I’ve known Sonny for a very long time, professionally and as one of my closest friends. Sonny constantly proves that you can trust him with anything. How many people can you say that about these days? We instinctively put our guard up when we are about to make a big purchase, it’s hard to fully trust that we’re getting a good deal. With Sonny, that is no issue. When me and my wife wanted to buy our first home together, Sonny guided us at every step of the way. We new the exact unit we wanted in a new development, and Sonny not only helped us negotiate a fair price (a scary process for a first time home buyer), but he was able to get extras like an A/C unit thrown in for no additional cost. Our previous realtor was professional and did a pretty good job. She was alright. Then we met Sonny. This guy is the best! From good advice, to negotiation skills, to you name it he does it all very well. Let me tell you something though, Sonny once dropped everything and showed up at our place with a baseball bat to chase off a black bear that got into our garage so we could get ready for a showing. An actual bear. You’re not going to find another realtor who would literally fight off a bear to show your house to a potential buyer. That’s a whole new level of dedication right there. There are not enough superlatives that capture the experience that my wife and I had working with Sonny Mann. Navigating the treacherous waters of real estate can be overwhelming at the best of times, let alone during a global pandemic. Our relationship with Sonny started when I briefly mentioned to someone that I needed a realtor and he was passed the phone. Our only regret is that the buying/selling process is complete so we have less of Sonny in our lives. But the good news is that throughout our experience we shared in many personal celebrations that have solidified our friendship and when we count our blessings, we count Sonny & his family twice. As executor I needed to sell an Estate home and the family of the home asked me to meet with Sonny as he was part of the extended family. I was a bit apprehensive at first because working with someone in the family in a case like this is not always the best option, but that certainly wasn’t the case here. Sonny listened to what the family wanted and what I needed to have happen. He dealt with the whole process very professionally, kept me informed and he sold the house during the first Open House. Because he sold the house so quickly, we had a bit of a nail-biter waiting for Probate but it slid in just in time. It was a pleasure working with Sonny and I highly recommend him.

Sonny Mann is a fantastic realtor. We were first time home buyers and he went above and beyond to make sure our purchase went as smoothly as possible. He was there to quickly answer all our questions and concerns. I highly recommend this realtor.

Just wanted to say how much, my wife and I appreciated Sonny’s help with our townhouse. We had interviewed 2 other local realtors in our area and their assessment came in at 30K less than what we were wanting. They both assessed it based on previous listings in the complex, and didn’t have the forethought for what we had researched and thought what was capable of being at present market value. My brother in Port Moody said that I should ask his realtor to help us out. He had had a great partnership with his realtor; Sonny Mann.

I called Sonny, who had very little previous area experience and he immediately went and researched the area and the present geographic market trends. He helped us in a 3 fold manner. First, he helped us with researching our property in our area. We would receive several emails with detailed comparable multiple listings and what would be attainable and what would be excessive; price wise. Between his in-depth emails and his personal calls, he helped us come to an agreeable and comfortable price. Secondly, he helped coordinate staging and pictures and a fantastic property video. He attended every showing even though he lived 30 minutes away. He presented our property with care and professionalism. Third, he got us our asking price. He negotiated and got us what we wanted. Our property was the highest per square footage that our area had ever received, and it was 30K above what all the other “area” realtors had told us.

Ok…I’ll add a 4th or 5th element…He helped us also, buy our next property. From start to finish and even after sale, Sonny is attentive, responsive in a timely manner and he is engaged, empathetic and trustworthy. He has your best interests in mind. There’s no slimeball sales tactic or used car salesman lingo. He truly cares.
